Nikithianos's old Watermills Path

An easy route through the forest with a small stream near us and the ancient water mills of Platipodi , with final destination the old monastery of Kremmasta and the “Krifo sxolio” (lit.secret school).

After a big stop and our visit at the monastery of Kremmasta we will visit the village Vrisses that have the spring of water of the area , and proceed our hike through the “gardens path”.

At the gardens path we can taste the local fruit of the year and it leads us back to the starting point.

Starting from the traditional village of Nikithiano we walk an ancient lost Path through a small forest to the top of the mountain (Vrisses) ,always under shadow to the monastery of Kremmasta and always follow a small stream of fresh water on our way.
